Bergerac Rosée

An unrivaled freshness

We wanted this rosé to be a simple pleasure wine. So we went to the initial rosé definition : fruity, explosive, great freshness and immediate pleasure. The result is a biting wine with red fruit aromas (mainly with cherry), and citrus fruits. It also presents a generous mouth with richness and length.

It is the best wine-pairing and even the pretext for sunny aperitifs. It also will accompany very well tomato salad, onion pie, chicken with lemon, and every kind of grilled meat (the best one : marinated white grilled meat).

Wine-making : The grapes are picked up when the fruit is "crunchy", that is to say at the middle between maturity and acidity. Direct pressing. As for all our wines, fermentation in native yeasts (which is rare for a rosé), to preserve our terroir characteristics and originality. No malolactic fermentation. After a slight racking, the wine is left in tank for a short breeding in the shelter of the air. It is not filtered and may present a slight deposit, guarantee of quality.
